AlphaScan effortlessly conquers massive vessels: Turkish agent delivers real-world scan results for 12m & 14m engineering ships!

Amidst the roaring sounds of machinery, the technical team from Qiyuan Vision's Turkish distributor is carefully scanning a 14-meter-long engineering vessel—each step guided by the AlphaScan 3D scanner in their hands. When dealing with such massive structures at the shipyard, conventional 3D scanning equipment often struggles to keep up. But thanks to the exceptional performance and versatile solutions offered by Qiyuan Vision's AlphaScan handheld 3D scanner, capturing even the largest and most complex objects has never been easier or more efficient!

Amid the roaring sounds of machinery, The technical team from Qiyuan Vision's Turkish distributor is currently using the AlphaScan 3D scanner to carry out a scanning operation on a 14-meter-long engineering vessel.

When it comes to tackling the massive structures in shipyards, traditional 3D scanning devices often fall short. However, Qiyuan Vision’s AlphaScan handheld 3D scanner—thanks to its outstanding performance and versatile solutions—makes scanning large-scale objects easier and more efficient than ever before!

Joint Operation of Two Machines: Precision Encirclement of a 12-Meter Vessel

Facing a 12-meter ship hull, AlphaScan effortlessly achieves coordinated dual-device scanning operations. With both units working simultaneously, they precisely capture vast amounts of 3D data from every part of the vessel.

After the scan is completed, the massive hull instantly "comes together" through manual alignment using pre-arranged public marker points, effortlessly revealing a complete and highly accurate 3D model. Single-ship scanning time has been reduced to 2 hours (including pre-processing), representing a speedup of more than 5 times compared to traditional measurement methods.

Single-player Expedition Mode: Solo Assault on a 14-Meter Cargo Ship

Even larger 14-meter vessels are no match for AlphaScan.

With just a single device, engineers can smoothly move around the ship’s hull to perform scans—eliminating the need for an additional photogrammetry system—and directly capture intricate deep-hole structures like the ship’s keel within the cabin.

AlphaScan's robust performance ensures stable and precise large-scale scanning, capturing complete data in a single pass—significantly streamlining the process.

Though efficiency may vary, the results are equally outstanding!

“When the Turkish agent sent back the 14-meter vessel scan report, we were once again certain:” A true industrial-grade tool—never limited by boundaries.
